New grant for the GRASS community from the National Science Foundation
GRASS team members from four U.S. universities have been awarded a prestigious grant (award 2303651) from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) to bolster and broaden the software ecosystem of GRASS GIS. See the overview here. The universities awarded the grant are:
- North Carolina State University (Helena Mitasova, Vaclav (Vashek) Petras, Anna Petrasova)
- Arizona State University (Michael Barton),
- New Mexico State University (Huidae Cho),
- Yale University (Giuseppe Amatulli)
This project will support new training programs for GRASS users and developers (see annouoncement), documentation improvements, better integration of GRASS with other platforms, and additional enhancements to the GRASSS community.
